Kinda OT just based on my observations and findings with what I own:
With the CF/S90V Shaman which I own, I can easily disengage the blade by doing a violet gravity shake (not like mild salt shaker test but rather by a strong downward shake). The blade is a chunky and heavy piece of S90V and the detent is typical Spyderco, i.e, not too weak and not too strong. I can't imagine the CruWear to be any different than my experience.
This experience is neither here not there, but it pacifies my own quest in chasing this thing. For the purpose of reference, out of the last 5 most oder Spydies which I own (CF/Ti Military, Spydiechef, GB1, Shaman & Police4 K390) only the P4 with backlock doesn't do this no matter how I fast-ball it (releases and then gets sucked back in, kinda dangerous doing it like that so don't do it!).
This is not a knock against Spyderco as I easily did that kinda stuff with much more expensive Shiros too. Again for the purpose of reference, the only Shiro which is like a friggin tank, is my "lowly" entry-level F3 SRBS!
