Well I'm not a maker or dealer so wouldn't know those things so thanks and only other thing Elmax still has over Cruwear is unless I'm mistaken and misremembering aspects Elmax is a stainless and Cruwear is not. I am a bit partial to stainless typically.
Any chance that Spyderco will institute a blade replacement policy in case of breakage? They could charge whatever extra it costs, but it would make me much more likely to keep collecting every Golden sprint I can. If BM charges, what $30, spyderco could charge $50-75 for production knives. It’s hard to see how they wouldn’t make money doing so. I’ve never snapped a blade, and it’s unlikely I would need the service but others have mentioned having a favorite blade snapped at the spydiehole and having tossed the rest of it.
Sal is favoring CF/S90V at this point (from Spyderco forum).
I think he said that was his personal preference but that distributors were watching the thread and they are the ones who place the orders.Sal is favoring CF/S90V at this point (from Spyderco forum).

What he said!Micarta and cruwear for sure! That’s way more appealing than s90v/cf to me.
