I have to speak for Shao since someone banned him. I run Plasticandsteel - Shao just collects knives and helps me find good deals. Does that make him a dealer?
 
It isn't just "one" knife.

All one needs to do is look at the transactions that shao made on the three knife forums, that he frequented, and his eBay moniker (plasticandsteel). On eBay, Plasticandsteel has an active feedback (end of April to present) that runs over fifteen pages.

Buying low with the intent to sell at a profit (not once, but. . . . .often) = Dealer.

Shao is not plasticandsteel you fool - stop reading between the lines. I started Plasticandsteel myself to put myself through nursing school. Shao was simply trying to protect my identity. Besides, don't you have anything better to do than search forums for dirt on Shao? What has he done to you? Your blatant and unwarranted accusations reflect your middle of the road intellect. Shouldnt you have a dealer account on here then? You have all my contact information you requested in from ebay. I havent called you at all and I do not plan on it. As far as I am concerned this thing is done. Why did you do a paypal chargeback on a knife that i can proove you recieved? If you hadnt have done that none of this would have ever happened.

It's obvious he knows the answer to that question or he wouldn't have been so dishonest about it.

I think you might actually be Shao.fu.tzer's girlfriend and not Shao himself; the writing style seems a little different. Who knows, maybe there are two of you, and who knows, maybe both deal in knives, and who knows, maybe the two of you have some idea that some deals are made by one of you and some by the other, and it's all arranged so in your minds only one of you is a knife dealer and the other is merely a collector and entitled to sell knives on Bladeforums without paying for a Dealer Membership. You might be able to convince yourselves of that, but it's obvious you know you're not going to be able to convince us of that or you wouldn't have been so dishonest about it in the first place.
 
Hmmmm... Considering I've yet to sell a single knife here. Why would I purchase a dealer account? I made a chargeback on a knife you sold me because I never received it after you wrote your e-mail me telling me you didn't want to send it to me because of an argument you had with Shao. I'm still amazed you haven't been banned with all the people you've ripped off.

Shao may have been dishonest but only to protect me. No harm has come to anyone so I still don't see why this should even be discussed anymore. No matter what I say, everyone seems convinced Shao is the anti-christ and frankly, I'm sick of defending him. He is the one of the kindest and most honest people you will ever meet and it's a shame that someone like Andrew (royals1982) can dirty his name like this.

According to the USPS, the package was delivered but I've yet to see it. I made multiple attempt to contact you concerning this, but never received a response until I filed a claim. I have NEVER lost a package in the mail.

Here's the email I just got from one of the Asshat twins:

My boyfriend used to spend 2+ hours a day on the forum, trying to cotribute the best way he knew how. It's infuriating that one punk can get him banned, when he was the one in the wrong. YES, I own Plasticandsteel and it is HARDLY a major knife dealer on Ebay. I average $200 profit a month. It's more of hobby. You shouldn't drag Shao into this - he's a good man.

No, if that is what you are doing, but it looks to me like these knives are being sold for a profit, not to recoup losses.

Shao just recently got a gold membership. In the time since he got that membership I don't think that there have been any other members that have sold ten times the knives he has.

I don't personally support people coming to this forum just to sell knives, but there are no rules against it. From what I can tell, royal has sold all his knives at a loss. If someone is doing that then they are doing it just to get rid of knives, or they have terrible business sense. Shao does things in a very business like manner. He contacts people that have knives for sale and tries to get them to lower their price so that he can maximize his profit when he resells them. He always lists knives at more than he paid for them, whereas hobbyists generally take a loss, unless the knives are highly collectable or in great demand.

It just appears to me, and obviously to many others as well, that Shao is selling knives as a business. It may well be his hobby, but many people make a business out of their hobby.

Shao and Theresa, it is best that you take this as a bad experience and move on. It is doubtful that with all the confusing information on this thread that anyone will be able to figure out what the truth is.
