Here's a little Randy Haas high carbon Damascus in his predator pattern (kind of reminds me of Bert Rietveld's snakeskin ... but more widely spaced)

That's pretty cool. For some reason the pattern reminds of teeth. Like a poster you see in the Dentist's Office with the roots going down. I like it - it's different.

How about some more Randy Haas Damascus ..... this time, his Feather Damascus. Just got this one and am thrilled with it!

When I first saw this blade, I thought it was Devin Thomas Sharkstooth (which adorns a few of the Mnandis owned by folks here). However, the knife (by master smith Rick Dunkerley) is a sole authorship piece. I wrote to Rick about it and learned an interesting tidbit. The reason the blade looks like Devin's sharkstooth is because Devin learned how to make this pattern from Rick! Rick doesn't really name his patterns, but if he did, he would call this one ladder patterned W's.

Here's another example of Damascus I would love to see on a Mnandi. It's a heat colored mosaic Damascus (1084 and 15N20) by MS Josh Smith. Knife just got here and will need to redo the photo as it is very reflective and had a hard time getting a good pic of it. But ..... figured I would post this now. Gosh it would be great if CRK started doing limited runs with different Damascus blades like had been done in the past. So much nice stuff out there.

I recently sold one of my large Sebenzas with a very nice Spirograph blade. It had a somewhat tight Spirograph pattern which I really like. However, sometimes, the very loose patterns appeal to me as well, as in this DT Spirograph (carbon):

Here's another Damascus pattern I would love to see on a Mnandi or Sebenza. Just received it today. Chad Nichols Boomerang pattern Damascus:

There's some really great patterns here. Color me green with envy.

Here's my first, but hopefully not my last.

Here's another Damascus example I would love to see on a CRK! Just in today, is this great example by Pennsylvania smith Rob Calcinore. The pattern is his Turkish Checkerboard. One of the nice things about Rob's patterns is that they run pretty consistently through the Damascus (almost mirroring front and back). This creates a nice visual and displays very well on the spine of the blade. Here are some pics of each side and the spine:
