This is a (rare?) wood...i made a bedroom suite for a friend out of a log he found in a swamp..it is MATAI.(carbon dated at 10,000 years)...very hard wood..i had a piece left over so stuck it on my khukri.........FES

Eric, Speaking of Traditionals...you stop me dead in my tracks when that Cattaraugus Jack and Ulster Cokebottle were shown...two absolute honey's...Wow!!

Good Grief!!...Eric...I have been off the computer for a couple of days shifting house, and I needed a fix badly..quickly got the computer up and running...and checked out this thread, guys....we are in a group called Traditionals here, and right now, I believe we are looking at the heart of Traditionals right here, Eric..that pruner by Wells, and the following Schrade Jacks...man o man...just beautiful my friend..thank you so much for showing off...oops sorry...sharing :D
 
I just picked this little bird and trout up from the (custom fixed blades?) forum....W1 steel with maple slabs....my new pocket fixed blade!!.....im very happy with it.....FES
