Sharpest knife?

Will Spyderco sharpen their serrations if you send it to them? I know Benchmade's "Lifesharp" policy doesn't include serrations (what a gyp).

Yes, Spyderco will sharpen anything they make. All it costs is shipping back and forth. (Even then I have heard of cases where the shipping back is waived)

Marbles. I have one of their 52100 models, sharpest knife I've ever held, at least until I split a whitetail breastbone with it. Not a real good idea in retrospect, but I wanted to see how it would do.

To date Strider has been the sharpest I have seen.

including Cold Steel, Kershaw, and Spyderco.
I would give Spyderco the definite vote though. My latest knives with VG-10 and s30v have been incredible.:D

As much as I like the knives I chose from CRKT - they could not have cut squat until I put an edge on them; two Peshkabz and four Kaspers. :barf: :barf: Great knives - lousy edges from the factory.:barf: :barf:

Toss up between my Buck / Mayo, or Strider SnG. Probably the Buck / Mayo, if only because the grinf is thinner than compared to the SnG.

A large regular Sebenza in s30v was the sharpest knife that I ever owned.

I feel that the Cold Steel Voyagers and the Microtech Socoms are the sharpest knives I've ever seen that came straight out of the box. I'm sure that there are others but I have yet to purchase one.

SERE S2K out of the box, but after a little touch up on the rods, my SnG's (first place), Sebenzas (second place), and anything in S30V is far and away sharper than anything else.

SERE2K was my sharpest straight outta the box as well. Though nothing seems to get as sharp as my Buck 112fg after a Sharpmaker session (so strange...)

Shaun.
