America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.
Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!
This is a very dangerous thread for me.The more I see, the more my carbon fiber addiction is increased. I end up needing more knives just to get more carbon fiber.

Those pictures make me wish the Southard felt good in my hand...something about the ergonomics just doesn't seem to work for me. I may have to reconsider though...the scale you made for my Schempp Tuff definitely improved the ergonomics, though they worked well beforehand. Hmmm...I sure want to like the Southard...not sure if I can though.
Thats surprising since we have very similar taste in knives. It is definitely a much better knife with the new scales. Feels much more like a custom. Plus the sharp edges of the finger groove are gone and more comfortable
That's exactly what has me second guessing myself, but I vastly prefer the Domino from an ergonomic perspective. I've held a Southard at my local knife store near a dozen times, and I'm not sure what it is but it just doesn't feel right in my hand and as a result I've never bought one.
