Shortest blade you carry as a primary folder

I'm quite confident that I can cause someone to have a very bad day with that small knife.

Agreed. Contrary to popular belief you dont need a a 4 inch mega tactical knife with jimping on every surface to hurt some one, an exact-o knife can sour someones day in a heartbeat. Though that did not stop me from ordering a spyderco manix 2 xl today :D.

C22 CF/ZDP Walker with a 2.5" blade.

I normally carry 3-4" folders, but the Walker packs a lot of cutting power in a small and light (55g) package :D

The smallest I edc would be my BM 470-1 Emissary with a 3" blade. It can handle the biggest part of what I use a knife for. But gotta admit I usually carry something a bit larger.

For a main knife, the smallest I'll go is 3" in a folder (Delica, Native and such) and perhaps a little bit less in a fixed blade (like a WM-1). Most of the knives I carry have blades in the 3.5" to 4" neighbourhood.

Spyderco Dragonfly (2.25") has been finding its way into my pocket a lot lately. Quite a capable knife for something so small.

For the past almost 2 weeks, its been a modded Yojimbo2 with a 2.5" blade.

I am fairly new to knife mods (and this forum) -- I've been carrying the Boker CLB Wharcom (1.8") since I am in a 2.5" jurisdiction -- did you shorten the blade yourself? Who would I even approach about doing that mod? A 2.5" Yojimbo 2 would be really cool! Of course with the mod I am sure the price would be equivalent to an Emerson Subby...

^^I've also been switching out with a Boker Nano as well.

I did all the mods myself. Call me if you have any questions. 559-375-4408

3.5 is right where i like my blade length. The smallest i like to go is 3 and the biggest 4. And that is blade length not cutting edge.

Lately, my EDC has been a Spyderco Jester complemented with either a CoPilot, MeerKat, a Skyline, or a medium higonokami. I don't really have much need for bigger knives though so I can get by on just these small ones.

In Oregon I carried 4" folders. Colorado limits you to 3.5" concealed so I shoot for 3.25-3.5" now.

I like 4 inches or near folders. I have a benchmade 741 onlslaught, a zt 0300, a fox pro hunter 130...
But recently I've bought a Yojimbo2 and I'm EDCing it very happily.
