Shortest blade you carry as a primary folder

CS mini tuff lite. Amazing little knife for $24.

I'm carrying folders of just about 3" tip to handle. One is less than 3"; the other is 3.15". I find that I like this size...as long as the handle is long enough and big enough to fit my hand. Small Sebbies just don't work for my hand-size, although they are great knives.

My primary work folder, Kershaw 3/4 Ton, blade length of 2.75 inches.
Shiny polished pocket clip makes it easy for other people to know I am toting one for work (legitimate reason).

Stainless steel Spyderco Dragonfly
Blade length: 2-5/16"
Overall length: 5-7.16"

A big knife in a little handle, add a lanyard and it's a hand filler.

I will usually cary my sog PE 2 or spyderco military, shortest blade as primary for me would be my Para 2 though

Almost all my knives are 3.75-4 inches but I have started carrying my Spyderco Resilience at work which is a touch under 3" I believe. I also agree it would cause a bad day. I usually also have a larger folder as a backup for my off hand. And a SAK for the tools.

I dont even buy knives with a blade under 2.9" I just never was a fan of super small knives.

Currently it's my 3.3 inch CQC 7V. But I'm looking at either a mini A100 or CQC 14 Snubby as my next purchase.

That would be just under a 3" blade (2.938") with the UKPK.Great little knife. Most of my EDC blades are 3"-3.75"

Seeing that I often carry a stockman or other traditional slipjoint, and the most used blade is usually the sheepsfoot/coping blade, the shortest blade I typically use is barely an inch to an inch and a half. I used to carry large folders, but eventually realized that a small, controllable blade was far more useful in my daily urban life.

I usually carry a 3.5"ish blade but I am looking forward to trying out a Millitary for my first 4" blade. I can't imagine carrying a 3" or less blade as primary.

Past couple of years my edc has been a Case peanut with Devon Thomas damascus blades. Of late I've switched out to a Sardinian Pattada friction folder that has done everything I could want out of a pocket knife in the real world. As a retired gentleman of leisure in American suburbia, two inches of blade is plenty for my uses.

All great edc in my book

My SnG is as small as I go primary, and that's even pretty rare as my RW-1 is my true edc.
