Shot Show 2012

slips in easy, pulls out hard. seems like a biological error :)

I'm thinking that ESEE naming their new neck knife after the Candiru might be the funniest, best thing ever.

The BEST, best thing ever is coyote brown scales for the tweeners. OMG that's cool.

Anyone familiar enough with how the tweener sheaths are probably made to guess whether they could be dyed? I'm thinking coyote tan for my BK16, chocolate brown for my BK17, and OD for my BK15 :D

So the super secret project was the re-release of the machax?

.
.....Oh, so far the super secret knife.isn't ready, so, until I hear otherwise, its to remain super secret. Sorry.

Moose

The secret is still a secret. Perhaps we should start a speculation thread. Although I think that someone in the know mentioned it may be a chopper.
Or maybe it is that new ESEE folder collab on the Kabar site.:D

Moose

I'll ask my wife, but I think I may have just started crying.:) We've waited soooooo long.

My favorite of the bunch is the BK17 (Clip Point).

Love Clip Points.

Is it me or does that BK17 look like a stretched out (and I mean that in a good way) BK11? I love it. I wasn't sold on the clip point but after seeing that....

Met THTX3, the guy that had my machete for a while. Since we got to meet face to face, he got to tell me why he had it for so long. Anyone that thought ill of him needs to apologize, his job is not an easy one. Since he chose not to tell anyone what he does, I.won't betray his confidence, but its dangerous, doesn't pay much, and is one we should all respect. Since its us he's protection.

It was a pleasure to meet you Moose and I appreciate the kind words. I hope you and the Kabar/BKT crew have a great Shotshow and stay as sober as humanly possible.

I'll leave you with a photo of the craziest Zombie killing machinery I could find at the show.
