The BK14 handles are zytel.
The BK15/16/17 all come with black AND coyote brown zytel. Micarta sold seperately.
The new coating and laser etching looks badass. I mean it too. Plus, its tougher from what i can tell by feel.
The sheaths for the BKT shorts are based on the old Eagle style sheaths, pretty well made and have a molle strap on the back. Several lash points.

Also, I think the clip point looks even better than earlier versions I've seen. Not sure if anything was change or if it's just the angles and the new coatings.
Wow, are they calling that new knife the Candiru? Isn't the candiru that VILE, horrible little fish creature that swims around in rivers in South America and
can swim up into a person's anus or urethra and attach itself with sharp hooked claws, feeding on sucking your blood? They can apparently only be removed surgically, scary stuff. My friend from Colombia told me about that, it's pretty much one of the most horrible things I've heard of. Nice name for a knife.![]()
