Shot Show 2012

Grivory/Zytel no difference. Ya'll have probably been getting zytel and didnt even know it.

Are the full size Beckers getting Coyote Brown handles as well by chance? I would love that.

And I agree, that coating looks great.

When will the "new" coated full size Beckers become available? I"ve been thinking of a BK7 in my future, and wonder when they'll change.

here's a photo from KaBar Official via the KaBar facebook page:

I'm actually kinda surprised at all this. I would think the 'launch' of three new Beckers and at least four new folders plus a new ZK knife, the reintroduction of the Machax, new accessories, and who knows what else might merit more than four official cellphone photos and a handful of cellphone photos by their pro-bono "mascot" Moose :D

I looked and couldn't find any press releases, as far as I know the catalog hasn't been made available for d/l, and yeah... four photos on their FB page. I'm freaking out, man!

So all beckers will have the new coating?

Likin the look of the BK14 scales kit. I'll have to pick that up.

Yes, all BKT' s will have the new coating.

No BK Shorts micarta here, but we had some at the Gathering. Pics alredy posted.

The BK14 handles are zytel.

The BK15/16/17 all come with black AND coyote brown zytel. Micarta sold seperately.

The new coating and laser etching looks badass. I mean it too. Plus, its tougher from what i can tell by feel.

The sheaths for the BKT shorts are based on the old Eagle style sheaths, pretty well made and have a molle strap on the back. Several lash points.

Moose

Yessssss!!!!!!!
Cyote brown handles!!
Getting tired of fully black knives!
Any word on pricing of the tweeners and machax yet?

Where is that secret knife?.?.?.?.?.?.?.?

Great job Moose, keep it coming!

Also, I think the clip point looks even better than earlier versions I've seen. Not sure if anything was change or if it's just the angles and the new coatings.
Wow, are they calling that new knife the Candiru? Isn't the candiru that VILE, horrible little fish creature that swims around in rivers in South America and
can swim up into a person's anus or urethra and attach itself with sharp hooked claws, feeding on sucking your blood? They can apparently only be removed surgically, scary stuff. My friend from Colombia told me about that, it's pretty much one of the most horrible things I've heard of. Nice name for a knife. :)

Yeah I think it comes with the micarta scales, but not the anal surgery.
