Sweet, so the clip keeps its saber grind, while the drop gets the FFG .

Guess that helps differentiate the knives a bit more as well, since before the BK16 and 17 were basically the same, just with different tip designs.

That BK16 will be sweet when I grind the firesteel notch on the back. Already getting mod fever. I think I'm going to have to switch handles on my '9 and condition my Nix '2 and '9 sheaths tomorrow.

And I totally agree with you man, I was pretty psyched for the current design... now I'm not as sure (still excited, but now like... confused/excited).

Eh, here's how I look at it....

I like knives, sure. BUT Ethan Becker knows much more about knives than I do. If he pushed for the drop point to have a full flat grind and he is excited about it, who am I to disagree? Therefore I am even more excited about it.

No doubt about it I will be buying the drop point and micarta as soon as humanly possible. Also, it will be hard not to order a Machax. Or the trail point. Maybe I can win the clip point???

yes, it will come with 12 different grinds, and you can get it in 29 colors. with a pony. however, i'm the only source, and i'm going to need to see some references first, then we'll talk about the re-financing and life-insurance paid to my name expect delivery when i feel like it
