Show me your Blur!

The BOR is one of my favorites. Just picked up a second to add to my collection as a matter of fact. Certain Blurs you just have to have more than one of. :D

That's a well used tanto right there. :)

Anyone know what the bottom knife in this photo is?

Been awhile since I've posted. Have added a few more to the collection. Still looking for those blues and grays that continue to allude me though. :(

Some Blurs in various different groupings. One project for the weekend is get the backing cut to size and pressed flat and pick up another shadow
box or two so I can have multiple displays. I think I have enough backing material to do 3. These are all the same box. I wish the glass had an
antireflective coating (hence the weird angles and slow shutter speed resulting in blurry blurs). You can see my watch pretty clearly in the trac-tek in lower left of the last shot.

Still kind of looking for plain edge tantos and the uncoated serrated blue. . Also looking for a "star" of some sort but the only purple I knew of out there sold and I now know longer know the owner of. I've mostly moved on though.. too much cutthroat dealing and drama in the Blur collecting world. OPA and IO though you guys are great!
I hope that this encourages more people to get interested in the Blurs because I love them and hope they all are as fair as you guys!

oregonknifenerd and OvalmanPA, those are some great looking collections. You've inspired me to get mine together for a group shot as well. Still on the hunt for the CF Snap-Ons in VA and the Deer Scene is starting to become like a purple for me as well, so GREAT grab on that one OvalmanPA, wherever you found it! Also, congrats on the Blue. Thomas is the man!

As far as the drama goes, I'm not sure how, but if I've upset anyone during my Blur collecting process, I apologize. I don't remember doing anyone wrong, but if I did, please PM me. I really enjoy being a part of the Kershaw collecting community and would hate to think anyone feels slighted by me in the past. Not trying to start any drama, just personally been a chilly vibe around lately.

Pics to come as soon as I can get them into some decent light. Glad to see this thread is still healthy. I check it every time I see it.

Believe it or not Jim I got it (DH) from a guy local to me. I had posted a wanted ad in a local classified board looking for Blurs and got an email from him saying he thought he had a knife that looked like these and had a deer scene on it. At the time I had no idea that they ever made it so I sent him back an email saying I didn't think it was what I was looking for. It wasn't until incaorchid and I were comparing notes that I found out that they in deed had made the model (Thanks again Hal!) so I re-posted an ad for the knife and the guy got back to me. What a complete stroke of luck!

I saw a deer seen a year ago or so before I wanted every blur and thought it was one ugly knife. Havent seen one again until now, so many regrets :sorrow:

That is awesome. I need to step up my game in the local area postings now.

I still didn't get great light, but this is the best I could do with a ceiling fan light and flash. We're talking about my photog skills here, so not much to talk about...Da Blurs

Holy blurs batman... It the occ with black blade an actual model?... Never seen one.

No, I sent one in for blade replacement and they offered sterile silver or sterile coated blade. No OCC replacement blades with codes were available. I thought the coated blade would look different, so I went that route. I like it.
