Found this little guy when I was weeding the flower beds. It's a saddleback caterpillar with believe it or not wasp cacoons on its back. The braconid wasp lays its eggs in the caterpillar's flesh. The larvae feed on the caterpillar from the inside until they're ready to emerge through small holes they make in the caterpillar's skin, to which they attach their cocoons. These little guys are poisonous and do sting so don't touch it if you see one!

this is what he says of himself...While this knife is used, it is very sharp. I own a professional sharpening business and have sharpened it myself...........also anyone notice its missing the screw by the lanyard hole hahaha

I finally went and looked at this terror, its listed as used, but in the description says BNIB. One ugly knife, too bad he ruined a Grey (unless we can find the blade for it). His SO frankenblur is a waste to. Thats f-ed up

Welcome to the blur stage of your disease, you are progressing fast than expected and he give you a slim to zero chance of recovery... :abnormal:

I just got an idea...

It really pays to talk knives with people... I bought the composite ZDP right out of a guys pocket today! I probably could have ripped him off, but offered a deal that would make us both happy. :D

Another thing I just realized while checking out my growing blur collection: the grind on the tiger stripe version is different than any other blur I have seen. Has anyone else noticed this??

^^^ Ya, a lot of them are like that, I prefer the bottom of the two. Its not date oriented, Im thinking its just one of two options offered by kershaw

Nice score with the ZDP-189, one of my favorite blurs... I think I say that every time. Handle looks a little banged up... which means you could FRANKENBLUR IT!... Do I see a BORZDP-189??? I hope so.

interesting. i am up to 8 blurs now, and the TS is the only one with the squared off grind. you learn something new every day around here.

Yeah, I really don't think that guy even knew what he had. He was shocked when I offered over original MSRP, but I know they are still worth more than I paid. I wish I could find a couple more BOR's for franken-projects. It looks amazing with the TS blade, and that ZDP composite would look great too!

Your killin me ova heeere. I wish I could find someone on the street with a sweet knife let alone buy it out of his pocket! that blade would look good on a few handles!

I routinely leave mine sitting next to the register behind the bar when I am working, just for the conversations it starts. I have been pleasantly surprised by the blades coming out of some peoples' pockets. Almost everyone around here carries, and most of them are cheap gerbers, old slip joints, etc., but I have seen more higher end Kershaws and Spydercos than I thought I would. Even found one guy with a Strider SnG!

Looks an AWFUL lot like one that disappeared off evilbay a short while back. Handle was kind of beat up on that one too.
