Show me your Blur!

Looks an AWFUL lot like one that disappeared off evilbay a short while back. Handle was kind of beat up on that one too.

Hmmm. I don't think I have ever seen one on eBay... and I look every day! LE blurs seem to sell for crazy prices over there anyway, so I am glad I didn't have to go that route. I don't mind the beat up handle, I have always admired that model and couldn't resist when I saw it in person. :D

I see they are not available on the website now. If they were suddenly going for $50 I can see why. Of course my luck I just spent $80 on one. :(

While they aren't available via the website you can still call in and order one. The very nice (native English speaking) lady who took my order was able to find it in their system for something around $80 but told me if she saw the lower price on their website she could price match. Unfortunately she had difficultly locating the item on their website and I assume she had to get help as you can't search it through their website search functionality. I got mine for around $58 total. I did warn her though that there's a group of people who will most likely start calling them trying to order these knives :)

Why they take them offline? Now I got to call to get one? Dang! Should have bought it when I had the chance but Id spent too much this month already and usually they last longer on there.

I'm guessing they cleared there online inventory.....Last time I went in the one in PA they had at least 30 of them on the shelves.. I hate those clam packs :grumpy:

anyone want to photo shop a carbon fiber blur with the tiger stripe blade? I have both on the way and might swap the blades.

I will swap mine and take a few pics tomorrow. I was going to frankenstein my BOR and BRNZDP anyway, so I may as well do a couple more.

I should work for that place that puts bio-hazard symbols on everything lol

We're sending one of our own in to break their machine, I know you'll have to witness some horrible horrible things done to knives, but it will be worth it in the end.

In spirit of the new Bond movie: 0022, The name's 22...Chester 22!

Is thre a place to order replacement parts like clips and such besides kershaw? would kershaw even do that? Ive got a red rescue blur and recently noticed the screw cap opposite the clip is missing. Ive got a nice little threaded hole where its supposed to go. Thius isnt something i think id have to mail it into kershaw to replace or repair or whateer they choose, id just like to track down a replacement part...

Looks like your pivot screw is missing:eek:. Call them up asap and tell them what you need. They will send it out to you. You won't have to send in the knife itself unless it's the blade or handle messed up usually, or you just want a sharpening. All of it is free minus you shipping the the knife to them if needed. There is a sticky at the top of the this forum with info to contact them. Kershaw/ZT is the best in the industry with customer service;), You won't be disappointed!

Yeah How do you lose a pivot screw....especially since the knife doesnt look that used at all

I've always thought the blurs were ugly knives (i think the rubber inserts look cheap. dunno why) but i discovered the carbon fiber model on saturday and ordered one. should be arriving in the mail any minute! It'll be my first but i love just about anything kershaw does so i'm not worried. Only kershaw could make a really good looking and functional knife with high quality materials and only charge $100 for it. If it was a crappy microtech it'd cost well more than twice as much, wouldn't work as well and you'd never be able to get it fixed.
