And my second haul from Dave came in yesterday with a pair of Blurs. A Tigerstrip & a Glass Breaker w/half serrated blade.
You guys are right. The thumbstuds on these ARE some of the best I've used. I would still prefer flippers, so I'll still keep either a Leek, 350 or 301 in my pocket. I think those knives would benefit from studs that are more like those on the Blur though...

Oh yeah, for some reason when holding the Blur it feels lighter than the Leek. My Blurs weigh in @ 3.9oz for the TS & 4.0oz for the GB. The CB Leek weighs 3.1oz but feels more substantial.

I got my first Blur about 6 years ago and beat it up on two deployments. You can see I had to reprofile the tip because I used it as a pry bar and lost the tip. Below is my newer S30V

I only buy knives that I use so who knows when I'll buy another...

Your Tanto Blur Looks like a ZT0700 now. I love it!

that really does look like the 0700, would actually like to see that in a blur from factory. Sweet story, i dont think i have kept any of my knives 6 years, kinda crazy

As of today, Thursday December 13th, I am officially Blurless. :eek::o

No, it has nothing to do with Mayan's or impending doom. I just couldn't live with my partially serrated tanto model, so I sold it to someone who would use it more.

So now, 50 pages in and nearly 76,000 views later, the hunt begins again. :D
 
What? Let me rephrase that...WHAT? Well that begs the question (since I know another one more to your liking is in your immediate future) which one have you got your sights set on?

I know you had mentioned liking the SG10 at some point. Maybe that one?

Thats half the fun. The hunt, the find, the best price, the ordering, the waiting, the staring at the mailbox, the opening, and the fondling and using. Then you start over with another hunt.
 
Just got the OCC in the mail yesterday. Once I get the purple and green spider webs I'll have all the Blurs I want. Not a fan of the track tech insert.
