One thing that I have really started to become impressed with is the file work on the backs of blades. . .I think now that I'm in a toolmaker apprenticeship I have begun to really appreciate how much work and skill is required for the finer details on these blades and file work is one of those things that I don't consider to be easy. . .anyone can run a rile over an edge and get rid of burrs, but there is a big difference between quality file work and just deburring a part and calling it good. . .

Great looking knife!!!

Thanks!! Here is a better view of the file work. Alan does some amazing file work for sure!!

Here is a big chopper that I did for me. Unfortunately, I have to sell it to pay for tooling etc for making folders. Almost 24" long, 1/4 5160. Blade is 13" long BTW. Handle is horse stall mat.

Great looking blade!! Any additional details would be appreciated. :)

Thanks Redsnake1997,

more details;

SK4 Hi-Carbon Steel (same as W1).
Clay hardenning heat treat.
12 inches blade and 17.5 inches OA.
Indian rosewood handle mirror finished at handle and spine.
680 grams.

It's 01 tool steel and the saw actually works. It's also a heavy mofo. The Grunt has competition though, here's my Sinister Chopper II I got from BRT Bladeworks earlier this week.
