I just finished modifying a Benchmade 171 for a customer
Modified the blade shape to be a bowie and hand sanded the blade to remove the factory grind. re handled in micarta after modifying the handle shape slightly.

The damascus of the pattern is reminiscent of the Wootz damascus with the Mohammed's ladder and rose pattern. . .I've just been reading an article on that style of damascus the last two days so it kinda jumped out at me!
