might not be complete yet... but it will chop one day.

Looks pretty wicked to me!!!

I like both of the blades that have been posted up with the horse mat stall grips so far!

Thanks, it's very comfortable to hold, with some give but not squishy. The krypto liners glow in the dark too :) I designed the blade to be weight-forward to add momentum for chopping, but feels surprisingly light because of the very hand-filling grip.

Daniel Fairly makes his own glow-carta, and I asked him overlay the stall mat over it.

Save some of that Chris, I'm gonna be getting in touch with you about an order soon :)

I made this for Christmas for my father in law. The blade is 1/4 inch thick 12 inches long 5160. Fittings are copper with a blued finish. Handle is polyamber bead spacer and gemsbok horn. OAL is 18 inches.

I thought I could have a little more fun with this so I multi-layered acid etched the blade to a sort of camo pattern

Thanks for looking

S-7 impact-resistant carbon steel @ 58 RC. Started life as a 7-pound billet. Ended up weighing a pound and a half. If you can wield it, it will do about any job, within reason, you need it to.

Wow Jason that looks awesome, love the small fluting and the patina, actually all of it is awesome

These two will be done after the Holiday season: .25" 1095, differential HT, 56-57 at edge, 53-54 at spine, canvas micarta scales, aluminum pins, convex edge, kydex sheaths. After these two I have an even large one in the works. It will be 24"(4" longer), 5160 @ 5/16" thick:D:D:D!!!
