My latest cutter/chopper acquisition is a humble Golok Buaya Menangut which is normally used for harvesting pineapples.

It was made by Omar Mohamad of Johor Bahru, State of Johor, Malaysia.

This large yet medium weight golok is a gift from a knife friend :)

Functionally it's meant for cutting and light chopping :cool:

That is very cool Mohd, very unique looking. Sheath does it justice as well.

I made this one out of an unknown mystery steel, but liked it so much I already cut out the pattern on a bar of 3/16 1084

Today, I would like to show a new chopper knife. It was forged by my friend who is a new blood of a bladesmith in Thailand. Hack is his name. This knife forged from a leaf spring truck, a basicly steel to make a knife but when put it in a perfectly process of heat treatment. It becomes a good performance blade. See!

Its total weight is 700 grams with a good balance of chopper knife.

He walked with it at Khonsan Knife Cutting Competitions 2012, Thailand.
