Roger, Ryan - Thanks for the compliment.

Here's the specs:
Alloyed Force

Blade: 10" x 2" x approx 1/4" of forged 1095, full flat grind with a hand rubbed and etched 1500 grit finish showing a nice temper line.
Handle: Red Maple "onion burl" fitted with a wrought iron guard forged from an old anchor chain link and an iron and a brass spacer. A copper pin completes the fittings. The handle has a Tung oil and buffed paste wax finish.
Sheath: Fully leather-lined Wickett and Craig 6-7 oz. veg tan leather with an onion burl inlay, wrought iron and brass "stars", and a copper "sheath tip thingy". The belt harness on the back side has a 4-position carry option with a brass ring for attaching the vertical carry shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is fitted with onion burl pieces from the same block used in the handle
Stand: A really nice piece of "real" Red Maple burl with my "PM" makers mark stamped into a copper star on the base.

You can see a detailed sheath WIP here:http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/985159-Sheath-WIP-FINISHED

Hello guys.
Here's my chopper. I reforged it from an old&rusty sickle.
Obviously, the first pic is a montage (all pictures by me ).

@ Swidya.usman : lovely golok.

Wow, Femercier, that kinda makes mine look like chopped liver ;) I always love Cas knives. The handle and guard is got some nice lines, and his blades are always great. Beautiful knife.

It's a O'Katz Handmade Golok Rembau!
IMHO with a 10" blade, a 15"OAL, ~ 1/4" thick and a 1 3/4" at the widest it suits nicely for a Camper/Chopper.

Strong, sturdy, sharp and hold an edge during the test.

It's a full tang with an ergo handle and a lanyard hole which is out of the traditional style among the locals.

And it was a birthday gift from O'Katz to me!
The quotes is from Jalaluddin Rumi's poem The Taste of Morning.

Thank you very much O'Katz :)
