I had never made a really large knife, so I decided to make one for this thread. This chopper is made of 3/16 inch 5160, and the blade is about 19 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. The handle is purple G-10. I guess this could best be called a machete.





 
Sometimes you have to just have a little fun and set aside fit/finish.. This one is pure function!! Whipped this out the other day to use as my personal destroy anything knife.. As you can probably tell, it's hand forged.. 5160 steel.. convex edge.. integral guard and recessed paracord wrapped handle. Fun fun stuff!!
