Show-n-Tell Time - Moose/Eq End Trapper/Muskrat!

It's 3 5/8" Karl, and indeed quite chunky. I compared it to some more Schrades of that handle pattern and everything is a little thicker; blades, springs, bolsters and scales.

Here's one I almost forgot I had, a Case Muskrat SSP in stag

3 5/8"...
By jove, that's just about spot on for the perfect edc pocket-knife if you ask me.
That made it even more beautiful in my eyes.
A moose-lovers wet dream...

Take good care of her waynorth, or I might just have to come over and rescue her from your grubby hands... :D

Here's a custom made muskrat! Terry Davis has gotta be one of the top 5 or so slipjoint makers; his stuff is so good.
His version of a 2-backspring muskrat, with a Hawbaker style secondary :thumbup: ;

I added this picture of the rear side closed. Terry's knives are pretty from all angles, like good sculpture. This knife is in ATS-34

But, yea I really do like it.. I got mine off the bay. In fact, I recognized the fellas name who sold it to me as a bf.com member that used to hang out in this very forum.. Although, I have not seen him here for at least 10-11 months and perhaps longer.

Hey, that's top ten material for sure!

my walden muskrat arrived today-
one heck of a knife for 19$ and made in america-
its not perfect ,but there is nothing big thats wrong-blades are centered ,scales are fit well, blade shape is sweet and its got some heft -

there are a few minor grind marks -

Hey sunnyd:
From one who prefers smooth stag
That´s lovely!! I really like how the colour is going from pure white to dark brown.
And those bolsters are cool. Perhaps not what I would have chosen to put on a knife myself, but definitely cool.

This one came in the mail Saturday. I really like the yellow bone handles. Larry
