Show off your 15's

The pics of the black micarta are really starting to depress me a bit. It seems the package with mine has been lost in Palatine, IL sort facility for the time being. I'm praying it gets found. What a bummer! :(

and here i thought you had 3 of em!

I don't! I was fortunate enough to get picked to buy the recent 77 and then picked up another but the right 15 pattern has eluded me. I do like the clip and pen combo(if it's considered a pen). I haven't picked up any of the single bladed 15's because I prefer a pocket knife to have at least two blades, or additional tools on a SAK. Someday!!!

And then something hit me....is it possible you were busting my chops because of my user name???;)

After seeing all the lovely pics of the dark black Ebony, I just had to have one.
Then this brownish thing showed up. Dang it;)

I still think it looks terrific, Mark. But I know what you mean. I have stopped making requests of my preferred dealers for a number of reasons. 1.) They are usually a 1 man outfit and I hate adding to their stress and 2.) I haven't had a lot of success making requests so it just seems I might be annoying them more than anything.

With Ebony, you kind of roll the dice. I've had some good success and then some not so good. But I like them all, even the brown stuff can look pretty darn good.

Well, you obviously got a different version than the one I got, Dylan.

Chain is kinda big/heavy, but it's a nice knife. I had wondered why the shipping charge was so much. Thought they could've discounted the whole package some... what with the USED chain and all, but it's a keeper and I reckon it'll all even out after a few stump removals or tows.
