Show off your 15's

I am still waiting. I think the Dealer was waiting for all the 15s to trickle in before any were shipped. Wasn't the Red jigged bone the last off the GEC production line?

I am still waiting also for a few 15's but from all the pics I've seen they will be well worth the wait.

A little play time in the shop this afternoon. :D Dropped the kick a little and added the EO notch. I always liked the Nifebryte Scout, but they're just too hard to find.

I agree, EO notch looks perfect to me. Are the handles NifeBrite Acrylic ? I just bought(today) a # 15 with "NBA" single blade Sheepsfoot 2015, from Mike. I'm hoping it will glow in the dark.

Thanks Ron. Doesn't take long at all. Next best thing to the Scout. ;)

The only thing I found with another attempt on a cheap knife a while ago was that you have to go a little slow and not let the acrylic heat up too much. It'll have a tendency to warp the acrylic if you're not careful to cool it as you go.

Thanks Ron! Yeah I think the circle is finished. I will just have to be more selective on the participants. I don't think there is any 15s I don't like--they are ALL Great. GEC just keeps elevating the perfection if there could be such a thing at these price points.

Excellent job Bob!!! David and I were just talking about the very same mod but on the ebony version:thumbup:

Thanks Paul. I almost bought the Ebony with this mod in mind, but flipped the coin and went with the Nifebryte. Maybe next time around. :D

WOW, that really does look fantastic Bob. What a great job, it looks like it came out of the GEC factory, oh and the great pics show it off beautifully.:thumbup::thumbup::D

Thanks Dave.
I don't use the Dremel like some do. The Dremel does a great job, but I have a Dynabrade Belt Sander that I like using. I just clamp it in a vise with an adjustable table in front of it to steady the knife and an air nozzle pointed at it cooling it as I go.
