Picked up a barehead single clip #15 recently and really like it, the shaping of the ebony handle is fantastic, I like it better than my capped #15. Also found this little button in the bottom of the tube, hadn't seen that before.

Ooooooh, I like that very much! A model 15 like that might be able to get my model 73 out of my pocket. That is a VERY nice knife.

...Seriously though, really liking the color of the covers. And the lack of a blade etch makes it all look super sleek. :thumbup:

You are correct on both accounts. I wish all the GEC blades were without billboards. IMHO, the patina is the only decoration (other than damascus etching) that a blade should have. Also the lighter ebony is much more interesting than the darker variations I have on my other 15s.
 
Brett, that is the grail #15 for many of us. If you don't warm up to it, spread the wealth! ;)
