Show off your 15's

I've been looking for the exact knife on the bottom for quite a while with no luck. A bare end, clip point, long pull number 15 with ebony covers!! You're a lucky man, sir, and I must say m coveting your knife big time right now! ToSo close this run coming up but only micarta covers with the clip blades, and it looks like a crescent nivk. Anyone know if the upcoming run of 15s will have an end cap?

Clips are bare end, and long pull. The black linen micarta, while not ebony () will be a nice jet black.

You'd think this thread would have some new knives in it now

Not sure that they've landed in user's hands yet. My guess is by mid June we'll have all the regular run spears, the clips, and the TCs. The other SFOs by the end of June.

I'll have an antique yellow in hand tomorrow. Seems like I would get my orders a few days later than most, will post pics asap

One of three arrived today. Great centering and Walk/Talk with pull being somewhere in the middle of the road. Jigged bone isn't my favorite but this will match the first GEC I bought, a 14 from the last run.

Who did the work for you? I have a56 with acrylic I’d like to get new material on, but am not sure where on the forum to find someone.

Thanks!

Joe

These are very, very handsome. Their seemingly pedestrian appearance is, in fact, what makes these so exceptional. Barehead, cresent nick, classic jigging and color. These are terrifically plain just plain terrific. I saw one this morning. traumkommode traumkommode mentioned that the nick appears to be pushed back a bit. I think he may be right. I think it looks great and with the light pull, there's no down-side to the updated placement (if it is indeed different than past runs).

GEC, we love you. :D

i gotta go with @glennbad he is one of the best modders ive ever worked with. check with him to see his schedule and what kinda materials hes got currently. that 15 was rehandled in pre ban ivory by some one whose not currently part of the forums. but my money is with @glennbad hes one of the best

Which do you like better and why?

1. Great Eastern Cutlery: Tidioute 153216CL "CROWN LIFTER" - ANTIQUE YELLOW JIGGED BONE

2. Great Eastern Cutlery: #15 - Tidioute - Huckleberry Boy's Knife - Antique Yellow Jigged Bone

I'm not a big fan of the plain #15, its just a bit too small, but I like it with an extra feature, so number 1 wins out for me

Single blade #15 Boy's Knife
I like to carry my smaller traditional knives in the small watch pocket of my jeans. A thinner, single blade is just more comfortable to carry that way. Besides, I have little use for a cap lifter.
