Last weekend I tested out a Diomedes X-carry sheath (knight) on a camping trip. Thought I would post some pictures for anyone curious about the fit with a Ladyfinger.







You can see that it rides very high on the belt, which I personally don't mind. It was a little inconvenient for frequent use around the campsite, but on the other hand it was very secure and out of the way.


My old setup for this knife was a hiking buddy-sized pocket sheath with a clip. Born out of necessity for a backpacking trip, the lanyard is just long enough to wrap around the clip, which prevents the knife from coming completely out of the sheath in my backpack. Looks strange, but works well.

The maker lined the inside with wax filled kangaroo leather. Feels like a handmade Italian shoe [emoji106]

Quality. Both the bush boot and Diomedes earl. Straight from fiddleback Outpost. My first Diomedes sheath. I am sure it won't be my last. The earl fits the bush boot like a glove.

Boy - I am not sure. The clip I use it at it's maximum shortness with this design. I have not been happy with any clips I have seen that is shorter.
