That Tortoise is top-stuff! I have a Conductor in it and would never want to part with it, a beautiful scale choice.

I can't wait for the 25s in Tortoise Acrylic to be released!
Some great looking additions to this thread. Just beautiful!!

Some #48s in Fire Flames and Tortoise Shell acrylic

That Fire Acrylic is really something! I don't remember seeing that before. Bet it's great in hand.

Thanks guys. Like most of GEC's acrylics, they do look better in hand with some light going through them. I believe these #48s were the only ones with this acrylic. It was offered during last year's Rendezvous at the GEC factory. I believe only 10 were made.

I remember seeing those in the lineup along with some other really nice looking acrylics. Is there any way to get one of these without actually attending the rendezvous? Short of getting someone to sell theirs that is....

One of the original Skunks! 2007 Cigar pattern. They don't make skunk like this anymore, sadly.

I agree Perry, the early Skunk had a lot of cream aspects to it.

Mind you, this recent Owl is not so bad either....:D

I've added a few as well. Here's some White and Gray Pearl

...

I'm not a fan of most acrylics, but every now and then I'll see one that "knocks my socks off"! The two above have definitely left me barefoot!:thumbup::thumbup::eek: Absolutely stunning, Trand; congrats on your good fortune and good taste! :)

Thanks Draggat! I think in 2007, GEC was still a new company and experimenting with what looked good to them. That's a great looking skunk you have there as well!

Well, you can only get them from GEC at the Rendezvous. Last year though a few dealers made their acquisitions available for purchase on their websites. That's how I was able to get my examples.

Thanks GT. I'd like GEC to make these available on the next run of #33s (whenever that will be). It's interesting how the different the covers look depending on how they were cut. The Gray Peal on the #09 and #66 are the same but different. Same thing with the Blue Denim acrylic on the #33 Whittlers and the Blue Corduroy on the #62 Mavericks. Same material but one was cut long ways and the other side ways.

Great looking stuff!!
