Show off your GEC Acrylics

Sweet knife...and one of the greatest knife backdrops of all-time :)

Trust me Darren, you're not the only one who loves this Tortoise acrylic!
I'm glad I found this thread actually because it is a good historical reference of all the tortoise shell GECs (most of which I didn't know existed) and who I need to barter with to get them :) I saw a 61 that looks awesome, an acorn 15, a beer scout, etc. It makes it fun for me to focus my collection preferences on something specific like that. I think the only one I can probably forget about ever obtaining is the forum knife from 2015 in the acrylic...maybe a 74 something like that?
I guess I am just hoping over time I can add some more pieces to the collection because 3 just isn't gonna cut it.

Kryptonite.....taste the difference :D

Good question, my Conductor is from 2011 and they had 'bloodlines' veins in it then. A bit before that there was a release of 61s or some Congress type knife that also came in a Red Tortoise but that was rare. New stuff is different. Not unlike the situation with Dead Skunk, early types were darker red and cream, depends on the supplier I suppose?

Early years GECs had some really interesting Acrylics such as Lapis, Lava Lamp, various sea greens and church stained glass, Northern Lights, Pumpkin Patch etc. Well worth getting if you can. Recently, I've admired the Hummingbird and Coffee House efforts.

Interesting and sad that they don't use some of those nicer looking acrylics anymore - just like horn.

Although I like looking at yall's pictures of acrylics, I never get persuaded enough to get one. In the end I always pick bone over other materials ...

Will Power Will Power Will, if I didn’t know better I would think that you have a fondness for a good Pen knife. ;) My friend you have some very beautiful examples in acrylic. All are highly desirable models! :D
