I'm lucky enough to have my Grail Knife. A Tony Bose 5-blade Whittler.

I suppose if my grail knife had to be one that I didn't own yet...well that too would be made by Mr. Bose and it would be a dogleg jack (like the one I didn't win at the drawing this year at Blade Show :(

This thread can't be finished yet?? You all must be trying to decide which blade you want to post :D

i got to keep looking around for a proper pic
and to those that dont have there grail knife (really tho who does ) lets here about what it is

Great thread Nick and great knife

I have alot of favorites but the one i was the most excited about getting has to be this Satan's Lace Stag HB the first I believe that Bill ever did for some one. This knife started a Stag HB craze that Bill is still filling orders for.

I'd be excited about this one too very nice. These threads are awesome some really nice grails posted here for sure.

Probably no surprise here about which knife in my collection is my "holy grail".

Best,

That could be the picture used for reference to define "Holy Grail" Bob.

I think it would be the Holy Grail of most collections!

Hard to say. My focus maker, Hill Pearce, told me THIS Bowie was his favorite. It's out there in some obscure collection, but not in mine.

Someday it may surface. :)

Also: for whatever reason, a dress bowie by Joe Keeslar, with wire inlays and his engraving/filework, his brute de forge guard and a tooled leather sheath cals to me. Buddy Thomason may own one, and I've see a few. Very rare.

For the last year, my Burn 9" swing guard has been my grail knife. I'm assuming this thread is limited to knives you own already. It is my most expensive knife @ $900. This will be beat in a month or so when I get a "one off" of Reese Weiland's last run of auto Hawks. Mine is a one off in the sense that it has a single inlay and a MT Hawk pocket clip (all the other were dual and clipless). This run is all sold out so I can, in good conscience, say that they went in the area of $1300 +/- a hundred or so. Not that the price makes it a grail, but that Reese told me he wanted me to have one.

As much a Grail knife to me now as it was in '06.
Thanks, Peter !

Don Fogg Sting Shiv.
The blade is 5.75", the knife is 10.25" overall.

I hesitate in posting this after the beauties of Buster & David but this is one that I am proud of:

Not my favorite design to make but I like the way the steel turned out.

Gary: Who's the maker? Or is it yours?
