Thank you! And here's one from the back of the safe, found while looking for something else...

New 'old stock' six option Cocobolo handled Combat Companion - never sheathed, cleaned, or otherwise messed with... :)

I have two. Bought them many years ago. A #11 Alaskan Skinner, and a #14 Attack. They are well used, and show their age and use.

I have found these to be good blades, but frankly, steel technology has moved past what Randall uses, and there are now much better knives available.

Mannlicher, welcome, thanks for sharing your opinion. Feel free to pull up a chair; there's one right there with your name on it...

I just got this today. I also have a "High Ride' sheath as well as the one it comes with.

SS Blade
NS Hilt
Squared Top Hilt
All Black Spacers
Black Micarta
Wrist Thong

Doubled,

Those are both rare and quite valuable Randall Knives. Now that you've posted them, you're likely going to get many requests from collectors looking to purchase them. If you decide that's a route you'd consider, I would strongly suggest you get them appraised before agreeing to sell - I cannot be more clear on this subject.

That said, congrats, your grandfather did you well! Thanks for sharing! :)

Thank you Melvin.

My grandfather past away about 15 years ago. He bought them when he was in the navy before returning home from Jacksonville, FL. I enjoy these knives very much and so did he. He loved and appreciated anything that was hand made. I have posted so others can enjoy them. Thanks for your advice but some things just aren't for sale.

Doubled,

Good answer. :D

Lone_Wolfe,

Nice collection, looks like you have most of the bases covered...

Thank you. You'll notice that with one exxception, I like my blades 5" or smaller. I really like the 4" and below. I'm hunting for a 26-4 Pathfinder right now.
