Excuse me sir, but are those Gold Tip arrows? lol that is a nice looking bow also. What make - n - model?
 
I picked this one up recently.It was in the bottom of an old fishing tackle box I bought at a moving/yard sale.My apologies for the state of it,some people dont deserve things like this!Consider this to be a "Before" picture,for now.

Interesting. Any idea what the handle material was under the tape or is it gone?
 
Donscpoo - wooow! You just got me hooked up even more to these knives! Wonderful combination, love the silver hardware on it with black handle!

If you have any tools home,I would suggest to just order scales of your preferences and rehandle it home, or just send it to Randall? I think they do repairs, you have a great find in there
 
When Melvin Purvis gets some downtime I'll get he'll have some interesting input on this one. :thumbup:

I have this weakness for silver and black hardware. Most of my Randalls came with this setup.

You have very similar taste for elegance to mine! Yes,black and silver goes hand in hand together naturally for some reason, the only material on Randalls I would option instead of black handle would be stag, with silver hardware, this would also be beautiful and natural combination giving overall harmony to knife....(optionally white goes too)

When it comes to brass hardware, my option on Randalls would be the wood,rather dark brown, Desert Ironwood,valnut,Indian Rosewood.....and also Stag.Stag fits with both, silver and brass fittings I think...

My issue with silver hardware are they will tarnish and give a slight golden look after a while. I have to keep polishing them with Flitz :) I decided to give brass hardware a try as the silver hardware look like brass hardware if you do not polish them. I ordered a #5 and #1 with brass hardware from the shop and they should be ready in 3 years.

Oh really? do you mean nickel - silver directly from Rmk? I didn't know this...
