I finally got a Randall after wanting one for years, was at the right place at the right time and had the money for once

Randall 25 with ivorite handle

Also, what's the best way to tell when these knives were made?

Well I got her finished over the weekend, still needs a bit more simichrome on the pommel, but shes good to go.
I teamed her up with a new Spec-ops brand sheath that has been slightly modified.I replaced the liner with one that wasnt so loose on the blade and doesnt let it slop around.
Also replaced the keeper strap with one that is less bulky and has a matching brass snap.

Nice work! I'd trade you something cool for it, should you ever decide to let it go... :)

Sir,
Thankyou very much for the kind offer but I must decline, for now.

This one will be my "user" now since I have decided to retire my little 28 for the time being.
Because of the way I did the handle on this as "washers" instead of a block,I have exposed the "end grain" of the micarta.
One thing I like about this handle is that when it gets wet,the fibers tend to "stand up" and gives the feeling almost like shark skin!
It is very grippy, which is what you need with wet hands and sharp blades!
Thanks again.:)
