One of my favorites! Is that a green Micarata handle, or just weird lighting on a black handle?

Yes it's the Green Micarata Handle. It's a beautiful blade. I was going to go with a black handle at first but when I saw a pic of the Green couldn't resist. Randall makes some phenomenal blades.

A new one for the collection - a mint condition, all original late Vietnam era Randall Model #18-7.5 'Attack-Survival' knife with stainless steel 'Separate S' blade, large saw teeth, early version long handle w/exposed tang seen inside, riveted Jonson Roughback sheath, all ties and lanyards, correct stone, complete unused...a rare find, a transition knife from about a six month period in late '71 into early '72, it's a 40 year old time capsule! :)

You guys and your 18s are killing me. There are so many that I want, the 25-6 is one the 12-9 is my grail knife but the 18 is always the knife I picture when I hear the name Randall.

It must be, it (the one on Nordic Knives website) finally sold.

I expected to see it go sooner than it did.
