Show us your Randalls

I recently got a copy of Shel's book. It has completely screwed up my mind. I'm becoming addicted to the grinds and lines of the vintage 1s and 3s.
That picture didn't help much.:D

For your viewing pleasure, my old #3..... :D

Thanks, I needed the fix.
Nice stag.

I could be wrong but this doesnt look like a #3. I had a #7 with a #6 grind that looked similiar to this. Also the sheath is stamped 4 5?

According to one of the Randall experts from that forum it's a #3 from 1990ish. He also said the sheaths were commonly stamped with #4, even though they were shipped with a #4. Also, that may not be the original sheath with the knife. He said it was the design was one that Randall was shipping in the 80's.

That's really all I know, I just bought it because I liked it.

I bought this 12-9 last weekend. The guy that I bought it from said that it was made in the 70's. I would be grateful if someone could verify this and give me an idea of what its value is.

Joe, it was likely made on the later end of the 1973 to 1985 timeframe (loose stitch roughback sheath) - and yes, that spacer stack, on the Bowies, was used until at least 1986...if I was buying it would be in the $400 range; if selling, a little higher...

I ordered this a bout a year ago, got last month its a 25-5" ... balance is awesome ! the stag is factory and is awesome , a little curve to it really fits to the curve of you hand right handed and left.

That's some good looking stag on that one Monarh99. I've seen some recently that didn't do it for me but that one looks great.

I just put $8,000 into my truck and lost another 8 in lost time while waiting for the truck. That took all of the money I had ready to get my first Randall.
My point is, my only joy right now is in seeing the ones you guys post.
I hope to see more soon.:D

Mod#25 in stainless. My one and only Randall to date. Seeing all the awesome Randall's in this thread sure makes me want more.
