Here is a brand new one I sent back after receiving it last month. Will be home next week.
The guard and butt were proud & I couldn't live with it. Went back the same day.
Should be good now. Lots of small options on this one. 14 CDT.
2 or 3 came in like this to the dealer from the same order.
Said he had only seen 1 or 2 in the past 30 years.
Hard to figure out. But easily fixed.

My one and only Randall, a Model 14. 'The Beast'
She has a few scratches from use, more to come though, as she's a user.
The kydex scabbard was custom made to fit this knife.
I like it as it does away with the need of straps and snaps, she just clicks in.

I ordered this Randall 2-8 from Gary Clinton with a hilt that I wasn't sure would look better than the standard one. But I could not find a picture of one made with the Model 14 hilt online, so I took a shot. I was happily surprised by how it turned out when I received the knife. I like both hilt shapes; this one gives it a different look. It still has the shop's grease on it.
