Sick puppy?

I'm really shocked that vets charge so much money in the USA for treatments!
Here in Europe vets are quite well paid but nothing like those fees for household pets, hope you dog gets well and it doesn't cost you much more.

That's prolly why my vet just came here from England.:D

Hey, we take good care of our vets. After all they fought for our freedom, put their lives on the line, oh you mean those vets:foot:

Shotgunner, my thoughts and prayers are with you and yours! I have a Min Pin as well, and I know what you mean, they become like children (complete with personality :D), and when they get sick its really heartbreaking. Keep us posted!

Hey guys, just went and visited the little man, he's doing really well. He was very excited to see us, jumping up on us and getting really excited dispite his 17 staples in his belly, and he hasn't vomited since yesterday.

Were pretty relieved that hes doing well.

He's not going to be as excited after I tell him he has to get a job.:D

Im so happy to hear your mini pin is doin well! I have a soft spot for those lil dogs...got one myself and she is my little girl and shadow. Love her to pieces. I am glad yours is doing well...

FYI mine ate carpet pad one time and she was pretty pathetic for a bit. She's all piss and vinegar now! I bet yours will be too!

Good news SG11! We're still pullin' and prayin' for ya!

Hey that is GREAT news, man!

Does the vet have any idea what the heck happened to make him so sick?

Anyway... I hear they are hiring up in Alaska. How does he feel about pulling sleds? ;)

I'm sure he'd love a job as a dishwasher. All the free table scraps he can eat! :D Glad to hear he's doing better. I know how heart wrenching it can be when the furry four footed family members take ill like that.

Oh, man. That's good to hear. Those 4 legged critters become a part of the family. When he gets home and is feeling better, give him a beef jerky from all your friends on the forum..

Not sure how I missed this thread - it's great to hear your dog is doing better. Best of luck! It sucks seeing a dog not feeling well or moping around from staples and drugs. It must really break your heart.

Take care and best of luck.

Glad to hear it! They do tend to eat everything they can get their hands on, I know mine ate a small flower whole one day, and it got lodged in her airway. She was just laying on the kitchen floor trying to breath for about 10 minutes before it finally made it's way up. I was really worried, thought I may have to find a way to remove it myself.

I'm sure you little guy will be up and running in no time, Min Pins are hard to keep down! :D

Well, he kept food and water down last night.

If he does that again this morning, he comes home at noon.

Were pretty excited.:D

This is him by the way:

He's slightly bigger now but you get the idea.
