Sick puppy?

At first I thought $1700 was high---

But everytime I pet him--It seems lower and well worth it

Very Happy for you Bro

Very nice!

Are you going to leave the ears natural? I wanted to, but the breeder had already gotten the ears and tail done before I came by, so there wasn't anything I could do about it.

Hope he continues to recover!

Yea, I keep all my dogs "au natrale".

He's half chauahah (sp?) half minpin, so his ears would look kinda funny clipped anyway.

I kinda wish I had clipped my pit's tail though, holy crap, it's like a mace the way she whips it around when she gets excited.:D

My little buddy's home.:D

He's running around like nothing ever happened. 15 staples in his underside, about a 2.5 or 3in cut. Doesn't sound that bad but considering he's a 5in. dog it's huge. He hates the e-collar but he hates the staples even more so it stays.

He cost me 1600 bucks all told and as long as nothing else goes wrong but having him back on my lap as I type, it's worth every penny.

Thanks for all the thoughts and well wishes you guys have given us along the way, it means alot to know that people are thinking of my wee-man.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking when I first started looking around, the natural way would look the best. But apparently, at least in this area, it's the norm to clip as soon as the puppy is old enough. Glad to hear your little guy's recovering nicely!

Haha, I've only ever seen two pits without their tails clipped, and my legs can attest to the fact that they can be rather dangerous when the pup gets excited! :D
