Never having owned a Khukuri, what exactly does one excel at? Chopping? Machette? All of the above? What was it designed for? Of course since its a Busse, I'm going to need one regardless.

It's both a chopping tool and weapon. Of course one can do smaller stuff with a khukri, but it is very inconvenient compared to smaller knives designed for such work. So yeah, a chopper, and a weapon.
