Silent Knight. . . Holy Oinkin' Yowza!!!. . . Coming Wed. 11-8-17

I like the looks of the "no catch" version. Hard to pass up anything in comp finish...might just have to get one of these for the display case. Was hoping to have my Burp Mil Overrun in hand before making the final decision and low and behold I got my Ganza ding. Expected delivery 11/8. Perfect timing!

The Burp has a Sexy Big Sister! I pretty much know what to expect with this one and I have 2 thoughts- No way I'm stripping another CBT right now. Got my Burp a lot shinier than this so I can appreciate how much extra work is involved offering these finishes. The other thought was, how great Chad's Garth Gold Burp looked with the cbt.

Who knows if this catch will open a bottle? I mean, dropping 5 bones on a mantle piece bottle opener, I'd like to know it will actually open a bottle, besides busting the top off

That is one wicked looking toothpick! Competition finish or go home on that bad boy! TG/TGLB for redneck zombies. Silent Knight for those high-class, uptown zombies.

Bossman, Email says "Silent Night" ... hope that grammar catch was worth a shop credit toward this offering ;) ... I'm in for one anyway!

WTH am I thinking?! Of COURSE I'm getting a Silent Knight! Who could pass this up?! And I'm strongly leaning toward Combat Grade with midknight blue (see what I did there?) and maroon micarta. Either that or desert bronze with maroon micarta. But the pull of midknight is strong with this one.

If im in (and Im in) than its,Comp finish all the way, My son keeps trying to get me to go with Ran & Black G10 instead of the usual Black Canvas, i may just do that... but thats another $60 bones :( $35 for No catch... may have to keep the Catch, but would hate to complicate things for sheath makers

To answer above questions, blade catch all the way. A shape/size like this is a chopper or fighter. Catch helps one and doesn’t hinder the other. So catch it is, frankly I think more Busse knives should have it!

Yeah, I am certainly torn between the two. I like the clean lines of no catch, but the catch is such a trademark of that knife that it almost looks naked without it.

Okay I'm certainly in on this one. It looks like the BURP on Steroids. I'll keep the knife catcher on mine. It might come in handy who knows. Bruiser and Midnight Blue Combat grade sounds like a good fit for this one or all black.

So how do you order one of these? Do they come up on the website? Been a little while since I bought a new Busse

Dammit.... just tried to serenade my wife with il divo and even made her a coffee and she said no more knives before I even said anything.

You need to tell her how good of an investment Busse knives are for the kid's college fund or retirement.

If you present her with the facts regarding long-term investment returns on your knife collection, you will find yourself swimming in an ocean of INFI.:D

Tell her that you spoke with an investment analyst and he steered you in this direction.

If she wants to speak with him, you can give her the office number and have her ask for me!

I've got your back brother! I'll tell her how lucky she is to have such a savvy investor for a husband and how, in spite of the fact that you really have no interest in knives, you continue to invest in them because you love her so much!

YeeeHawww. . . . We've got this!:thumbsup::cool:

Let's drink!

*** All joking aside, this usually works because it's true!
