loyal & likely to know...

Does anyone have a picture of the canvas micarta
colours available on the SK?

And, can the canvas handles be sanded or treated to bring out the colour?

I guess I'm saying I usually get the G-10 handle.
But can the included price canvas colours be brought out to look black, green, maroon etc, instead of looking sort of tan?

I'm gonna prolly get the BG version black & black.
I'm gonna buy one for my "brother" too...
Maybe I just talked myself into Black G-10?
Tho maybe I should get the black & green so I know which one is mine?

I'm stuck on my acreage with crazy stupid back pain...
And he just stopped in with an armful of groceries...
And an A&W burger, on his way back to work.
With Thanksgiving coming up for my "Murican" friends, I'm reminded to be thankful for my good friends & "Brothers"!

I think the black with Black g10 on the Silent Knight is just awesome!
Not sure I can answer your question though. But, I am sure there are those that can.

I bought my brother an ASH2 once myself.

I have a Battle Shark & TG BG in those colours!
And they look great!
To mix it up a bit, I tried green with G & B G-10!on the TG-M A2, but won't know how it is until it's in my arthritic hands lol!

I find sharing these knives part of the fun!

I have a niece in the Yukon who surprised me with her love of bushcraft! She is going to be getting some more of my gear soon, sharp & loud...

And I've been starting to put away many of the knives for when I'm gone to the great hunting lands & drag strip in the sky!

I don't have many relatives worthy of a sharp stick.
But I have a bunch of good friends with kids & grand kids that call me Uncle Randy, & they are gonna get some cool stuff!!

Its comp finish. They do the finish machining after heat treat then put on scales and out the door it goes...No stripping and manual/hands on labor that you put in on the blade finish

My personal favorite for a working blade is hand sanded black micarta. Just my opinion but it looks good (darkens with use) feel great in the hand (reduces hot spots) and doesn't get slippery when wet.
Sorry to hear about your back, if it makes you feel better I'm in the same boat. L4-L5 rupture hitting my sciatic nerve in my left leg. So I literally feel your pain brother.

Not the best pics but it's all I have on hand at the moment.

I think I would be happy leaving the colours up to chance like
in the grab bags..., but I'm prolly going with Black, and Black g for my bro...
Black & B&G G for me, tho that may change many times before tomorrow!

I'm sorry to hear about your back trouble as well...
And actually it makes me sad we're both in the back pain boat...
I almost wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy...

But it's tuff, and same here, I feel your pain brother...
I broke C-7, T-1,2,3 among other things when a distracted
trucker ran into me on my motorcycle.

I'll drop you a message some day, maybe we can compare notes and
find something that helps... or go on about guns & knives lol!

The one I found is over at Knifehunter I don't know if there were a lot of varients or not...I wouldn't mind a longer blade, but this is still a must have for me...
 
I love the SK , but going to sit this one out and save some loot for the Ganza
 
At 1st i wasnt sure about shorter blade, but than It grew on me, i th8nk this way its more practical for use, and little more affordable.

I don't think I can pass this up. There are only a couple of blades that I would consider wanting more than this. Maybe a TG Crusader. Or MOFO Crusader (Is that what I've seen Rob Stanley post?). A Gladius, but I believe I wouldn't be able to afford even a BG Gladius. Jerry has hinted as a collab with Mike Thourot (sp?). Who knows what that could be? The one thing that could be released that I might want as much as this would be an A2TG-P. But this thing pushes a lot of my buttons, even in the CG configuration. It is just BAD A**!

Yes what could that collaboration blade be? What could be cooler then this? Getting my hopes and blood pressure up! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup:
