Silent Knight. . . Holy Oinkin' Yowza!!!. . . Coming Wed. 11-8-17

Dammit.... just tried to serenade my wife with il divo and even made her a coffee and she said no more knives before I even said anything.

Haha!! Well, you tried!!!
Maybe tell her this is more than just a " knife"!
-It's a bottle opening (which is potentially life saving)
-Zombie head removing (again potentially life saving)
-Apocalyptic defense tool (uh, yup, potentially life saving)
That can carve a turkey at Thanksgiving...
Or Carve a Turkey in a home invasion (that I pray never happens), but jic will let you go all Zombie head removal on the "Turkey", at least until you can get to your backup Mossberg 590A1, or M-14, or M -4, however you Rock & Roll!!

If nothing else you can tell her Sixx on BF's thinks you should get one...!!

A public BFs announcement by Sixx & associates...
Guys who don't need permission since getting divorced. No, we don't need permission, but we could sure use some assistance!! These dirty dishes ain't gonna wash themselves!!
I hope that's amusing, I'm not sure why I'm up at 06:00... oh oh, now I remember!!!
Have a good one all y'all!!
I'm just 24 hours we'll all be ordering our version of the "Silent Knight"!!
I think I have no choice but Black & Black!!
And finally, sorry for winding up making a mess of your post BladeBoss...
Have a good one eh!!

Digging that Bulldog rifle case in the photos, really brings me back...

Whoever took those photos did a great job, btw!

The knife looks great, glad to see competition finish making it's way back into the mainstream... great job Boss!

@Blade Boss - This is an easy one- Show her this forum, point out that YOU are "The Blade Boss" and there will be no further discussions.
If this doesn't work, which I don't see any reason why it possibly would, have her sign up to the forum and we'll go to work on her with the mastery of word that would make an aluminum siding salesman cower in defeat :D

That is some serious badassery there. I think I'm in for a comp finish. The War Train Fusion needs a larger companion.

I'm IN!!!!!

I'm thinking with blade catch, and Comp finish... Just need to figure out handle color...

Seems like one blade is better (for a lack of a better word) than the last, im not sure how Boss will top this one

This is such a cool offering. I am going to have to go comp finish. I am partial to the no-catch version. Just like I am partial to the no-catch MOJO over the MEFO/MOFO. I do have both variants, I just like the lines without catch better.

And, if I am going to end up in a defensive knife fight situation (against a human) it will almost 100% be with a much, much smaller blade/s I will have on my person. I cannot tote an SK around New Orleans, and don't need one on the North Shore outside of the home.

I am not sure how much more effective a blade catch would do against a mama black bear, alligator, pissed off hog, etc you might run into down here and need a big knife if caught unawares and cannot get some rounds off...poisonous snakes won't care how they get their heads cut off (only if posing a threat).

If you run into the Rougarou, you're going to need all you can bring to the table at once...

Would see one occasionally at knob creek and just drool.. usually i remember the prices of these with mammoth tooth handles in the 1200-1400 range.. now, this is a deal!

I’m going comp finish all day. It’s been missed. And now it’s back!! Get it while you can !!

Those are pure sex!

So, how do folks lean: blade catch, or no, and why?
No. Ive been carrying knives for over 25 years, and never once have I used my cutting tool as a, "Weapon," nor have I ever had to engage in a knife fight. Punched alotta jagoffs, though.

It's a good thing these will prolly take a few months to make. I'm seriously considering getting two.
One Competition finish, and one CG Black, with Black G10. The Black looks like the original version.

Do you omit the blade catch out of just looks; or do you regard it as a negative to use?
