I love it- I ordered my Forsaken Mistress the same way- This looks like the maroon we saw on the PR's. It's completely different than the green canvas I got on the TGMA2 - it was more "cottony or fuzzy" so to speak- This has great deep color, very attractive imo~ super pleased.

You won't believe how light it feels, I was shocked. Put finger in choil, it's slightly tail heavy in the center - This is really, a blood relative to the Burp- Lets say the SK took a healthy sht- it would do a selfie with the commode and paste it to facebook out of pride alone :D

I agree in terms of degree of finish, by looking at my DS8 and the posted pic of the SK....the SK looks more old school CF...

Old School as in 2008 SE CF series
 
reminds me of a "BIG Competition Finish" :thumbsup:

Something that slipped past me-- even in Jerry's pics-- is the shape of the Talon guard...never noticed the little divot out of the backside...can't recall ever seeing that on another Busse. I like it's looks...hope it feels good choked up on. :)

Can't wait to get mine...speaking of which...has anyone gotten a fancy G10 version in hand yet?

I recieved my cf with blue and black G10 yesterday. I have not had a chance to snap any pictures yet.
 

I figured somebody would've seen the resemblance even before I did ... but I didn't read thru all the posts ... just goes to show great HOG minds think alike! ;)

Anybody else notice the unique talon guard?

A subtle change for sure, but it is non-standard.

The HG55 has a kinda unique talon guard, but I don't ever recall seeing one like this model's on any other Busse

Well worth the wait, thats amazing, im triply stoked for my red-black cf. Thats a lot of knife and every inch of it is killer looking.

That cbt, long swedge, blade catch, those lines...cant wait to see what tan-bronze loks like.

Anyone got those combos yet, please share :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I did not notice the talon guard nuance until you pointed it out. The HG55 really locks in the hand with that similar type talon guard...looking forward to getting my package!!!

The recurve on those SK pics is outrageous. Looks a lot thinner/ pointier than I remember

This thing is a hot ass bread knife~ It's sexy slicey! Overwhelming comment from folks at work today? "That is really light and thin and cool" Pretty much sums it up. This one, it caught everyone's attention and were impressed with how it felt in the hand- and best part? not one person asked me how much ;)
