I can only tell you, I had my order in before 9:01 on this one because there was no question for me- How it's relative? could be, I know a lot of others got their Park Ranger before I did but I didn't snag it for a couple days so I expected that.I was one of the last orders before it was taken down. 15 mins before. Does that mean mine will be shipped out last ? Just curious.
So has anyone recieved an sr101 yet? Any timelines to charging for those?

With a TGLB... The flats are a bit rough, but, the blade overall is super "slicey".... I can see an LE (satin) version being super wicked...![]()
Jolie Laide comes to mind....
Dig it!
Fit looks good on me and CF looks like CF. $500 would have gotten you a coated blade.I know competition finish is not mean to be very refined but I would expect the overall fit and finish to be better for a $600 knife ...
I always consider SK as one of the best Busse design of all time but the pictures in this thread start to make me feel regret for purchased one of this blade... the knife is at shipping forwarder at this time and it would be in my hand in less than 2 week so we will see...
To quote Tommygun -"pics or it neva happened!"Fit looks good on me and CF looks like CF.

well grats on a great first Busse! There's no pits or dimples here- Just as Jerry posted and what should be expected "light machine marks" Even the coated ones I've stripped, no pits. I think, the process has changed from the old days. Look at those older CF finishes, there's no surface grinder marks. Those look fresh out of the oven. Maybe that's how they look before machining? Maybe a step has been added since those day? idk~ but even then, I'm sure Jerry said "wil have dimples and pits" ? a raw finish? ... no way you should be disappointed, it's an amazing piece of Infi in one of Jerry's most iconic designs- we're lucky to have the opportunity imo - that and a quarter will get you a gumballThis will be my first busse knife, CF with red and black g10. Im not to worried about the scratches because I plan on polishing them out myself.
To the ones who have infi already, is it that hard to polish? In my opinion if i really want that "extra step" I don't mind polishing it up myself and if some scratches are deeper or if theres a dimple left here or there then hey it adds character. They did warn about chatter marks etc so.. at least with Busse you can get mostly all your money back if not more if you don't like it
. Its a WIN/WIN. But Im pretty sure this one will be a keeper for sure
