I guess that's why it's called a tweener and not a tiny.

The 15 would definitely be a full sized camp knife for me.

P.S., I've owned the 9 and it is awesome. Maybe the best Becker in the lineup.

The edge on mine was reprofiled before I got it. Not too shabby!
This thing is wayyyy handle heavy though...
The 1/4" solid slab of a handle definitely needs thinned down I agree. It makes the balance a bit awkward. I'd prefer to have the weight forward on this beast. We'll see...

You could tack weld some scrap metal to the tip to redistribute the weight. Yep that should work.

I could always break out the plasma cutter and thin down the handle too!

Just got back from camping. I went out to the lake shore to watch the meteor shower last night. Got home got everything cleaned up and repacked.

Later on tonight I'm going shred the rest of the potatoes and onions that I got and freeze them to take down to E's. I also got a dozen and a half eggs, and gotta get some cheese.

While you have the plasma cutter out, you could also cut a few square holes in the tang to light it up a little bit.

Funny, we used to shoot tennis balls out of cannons made with soda cans......and cafeteria glasses :devilish:.
