I carry a Bark River City Knife almost every day, usually in a pocket sheath. I generally have a scout pattern or SAK with it, for the extra tools.

Here are my two sub 7" fixed blades, a Dozier Personal Utility and a Bark River Adventurer:

A Guardian3 is my next planned acquisition (unless something more interesting comes along on the Exchange :))

I'll be getting my EK&T Companion soon with a lovely orange G-10 handle. I like orange. That knife is going to get carried a lot.

Whetstone, those Bark Rivers are beautiful!

I've been away for a couple of days and was pleased (and grateful) to see that this thread is still garnering participation. As for your recommendations: WOW. There are some real beauties out there. As I mentioned about a week ago, I did make a move on one so far; the Bradford Guardian3 in DLC coated M390 steel with the saber grind, camo scales and black leather sheath. This knife arrived ultra-sharp...beyond any other I've ever experienced. It is already nudging aside the custom configured S30V BM Mini Griptilian that I have normally carry daily in a little kydex neck sheath. I'm not sure which one will come next but I'm leaning toward the L.T. Wright Coyote or a Lon Humphrey Muley. Another that has caught my eye is the Arno Bernard Meerkat.
