Smoky Mountain Knife Works

Im with the OP and Kiahs.

To compre that mall-ninja Nazi skinhead racist piece of trash to a piece of literature or a historically signifigant item is just ignorant. Books are historically signifagant, as well as an antique weapon. I have Jap rifles from WW2 ive aquired as well as original Nazi officer swoards that were handed down to me by my grandfather who served in that war.

A knife like those with a Nazi symbol is promoting racist violence IMO.

I will never order, or even go to their website again. This sickens me. People are free to do what they want, and believe whatever they want, and so am I. Sell that trash, and you lost a customer in me.

Maybe, just maybe, if they were reproductions of an original pattern, I would see a bit of a thought process.

So... you want us to boycott a knifeseller because you told them you wanted them to stop selling two knives out of, what, hundreds if not thousands of models, and they said no thanks, we'd rather not do that, and now you're convinced they're all a bunch of Nazi enablers who should be shunned?

I agree with you.

Grow up people.

You wouldn't buy from them... by the size of that building, someone likes their knives! Historic reproductions will always have a market so just don't buy one if you are morally offended by them. SMKW does have some good knives and a reasonable return policy.

What's that smell.... troll?

tsk tsk... Politically Correct snobbery on BF...

I think I'll go buy a dozen nazi knives now.

I want to be clear about this: I am not claiming they do not have, or even that they should not have, the legal right to sell them. I am also not claiming that people should not have the legal right to buy them. Rather, I am stating that SMKW should choose not to sell them.

You know, you could be considered a troll. You have three posts all bashing a dealer that has done no wrong. You also dont have a problem with them selling or people buying, but you dont want SMKW to sell these? Just who the hell are you to say who sells what?

These are knives that you would see at a fricking flea market, and wouldnt be considered knives by any serious knife person, collector, user.

I think that's pretty much the case. SMKW needs to get the message that at least part of the knife buying public is against the practice of promoting bigotry. I don't think it matters how many knives of this type they sell or how many total knives they have. It also doesn't matter what their reasoning is for keeping the knives in their inventory.

Ha! Show me how those are historic reproductions!!!!!!!

It's part of that 'Freedom of Speech' thing that Americans die for every day. Everyone is not like you ...or me.

Not sure I get your point. All I'm saying is that it doesn't matter why they sell these knives. I'm not going to buy from a company that sells this kind of thing.

I did change that to say '...you... or me.' Don't buy anything from nations that sold weapons to terrorists...oops!

They look like what we consider Historically correct knick knacks, if it's not your history then go on to look at some other knife.

I believe you posted "historically correct reproductions" Those are in no way shape or form Historically correct reproductions.

Who cares what they sell. SMKW didn't do anything wrong here.

Who are you and why are you trying to interject the 'Voice of Reason' into this squawk fest!?!?

Who is the guy who's tag line is 'Poking things with a stick since 1989?' Lemme poke this one a while. ;)

Wazza difference? Somebody makes them, somebody sells them, somebody buys them, capitalism at it's best.

(( Unnecessary picture by an unnecessary returned troll. ))

When I read some of these posts, I can't help but think of that scene in deliverance, where those two retards are playing their banjos together.
