HAHA.. Dont mean to laugh bud, but i was in about the same boat. And if i knew you needed batteries id of sent you some... Well if i could find em LOL

I got a nano a while back, it was done up in a necklace with custom wood beads, a spartan helmet and all. Then i ordered 50 extra batteries for it so id always have extras... But the light quit working before the batteries were delivered LMAO

I planned on getting another one eventually... But i never think about it, plus i use the PD35 all the time anyways, if i want/need something a little smaller ill pull out the E11.

I had the Nano on my keychain, but when the bezel touched the key ring, it would come on, and drain the batteries. Same with it on the ring on my Vic Camper. So, I stuck it on the lanyard I had attached to my SAK. Today, I used the screwdriver on the SAK, and a long lanyard with a Nano attached was in the way, and of course I took the lanyard off. Had it in my pocket, but it must have come out when I pulled my keys, or lighter out. Who knows.

I realize that I am going to hell... However I'm pretty sure I won't be alone. Most likely in fact I will just be driving the bus, and more than likely it will be one of those Chicago super long buses. Maybe even super long, but double decker like in London... Be that as it may, the reason behind this thought today, is because I actually had a piece of sausage come out of my nose when I read this:

I don't know how you can't laugh at that.
That sucks brother. Sorry to hear it. What blade was it?

I thought i lost my lighter earlier today... Which would of been no biggie with a bic, but with this one i was ready to blow up the world..... I found it though... Funny thing... It was sitting right next to the pipe the entire time.... Just on the opposite side by the wall, and the pipe was in the way of me seeing it.

Man if i did lose it... Id have to get another. I cant even look at bics the same anymore LMAO... Maybe i need a little kydex sheath for it HAHA I seen a bunch of kydex for Bic lighters, chapstick, mini hot sauce bottles etc... So im sure its not too crazy of an idea.

............. Now i just need to remember where i sat the pipe AND the lighter :D

Note to self: If I ever buy a Streamlight Nano, don't bother buying spare batteries for it.

Got to try out my new-to-me Beretta 21-A today. Shot with 3 different varieties of .22LR ammo, including CCI standard velocity, and it shot just fine with all of them. It did start to develop issues after around 70 rounds fired because it doesn't have an ejector, and the fouling around the barrel binds the shells enough to cause issues as it starts to get dirty. But then, for a backup gun which I won't be buying a ton of mags for, there's really no way I'll fire more than a few rounds anyways with it outside of a range setting, and a quick ripcord run-through, and I'm back in business. Nice little mouse gun, and accurate enough even at 30 feet for me to keep my shots within a 4" circle shooting one-handed with my off-hand.

At least its not a real expensive light anyways.. Still sucks to lose stuff though. And even though its cheap... it worked pretty good.... Until it didnt.

Man that sucks. Looks like they are a limited in number knife too... Man sorry to hear that bud. Any chance of getting down to the bottom of the cliff?? Im sure if it was easy you would have done it already though.

All you Breaking Bad fans watching the new spin-off show named "Better call Saul" ?? First episode, while a little slow, it did start off kind of interesting. I never finished breaking bad... I may need to go back and watch it from the beginning one day. I think i only seen the first 1-2 seasons and then forgot about it while it was on break. Hmmm.

I watched the first season of Breaking Bad all the way through, and then about 2/3rds of the second, and then half the third but I was lost for part of it. Then after that I didn't watch any of them. It seemed... I dunno, I just wasn't a fan.

In 7 hours and 35 minutes I'll officially be off of my first shift on-call. I can't WAIT for this to be done! It has been hell week! I've spent more time overnight in hospitals, ERs, and Police Stations than I've spent in the office! Which is just ridiculous!

Keller was no saint. In fact, she was a zealous socialist activist.

And now... trout.

And people look to her like she was some great role model. Of course people think Alexander Graham Bell was too but he was a horrible abuser of his family.

Those trout looked good though. Is that an umbrella jig? (is that what that thing is called? or an arkansas rig or something like that?)

That's called a "fishing stringer" because you "string fish" on them after you catch them. :D One of the "fancy" ones. The ones I grew up using looked similar to this::

Although, sometimes I just used a piece of rope with a loop tied in one end.

Been reading some discussions on batoning lately and now this video got uploaded. I actually think it's pretty sound advice here. Good video.

OMG! A peasant fisherman. I've heard about you people. ;) :D

Seriously, I like the metal one for local trout because the limit is seven and the stringer has seven clasps. You fill your stringer and it's time to go home.

Yeah, is a shame. Guess it's an excuse to get a new canal street.
Didn't realize it was gone until I got home and it wasn't in my pack. Tore that pack apart. That crag is 3 hours away. Not much a chance of getting it back.

Yah, but only if you dress left. Otherwise it's gonna feel real funny ;).

I didn't realize it was traditional to umbrella the kilt around the seat.
Fascinating.
And terrifying.

Ladies don't do that, therefore a kilt must not be a skirt.

You know that stool is only gonna have ONE user...."hey, here's a seat!" "na, I dinna think so....dat's MacLeod's stool....and who knows where his haggis ha' been!"

My wife has come home from the salon. There is about 16 inches missing from her hair (which used to be almost down to her lower back), and she left a brunette and came back a blond. Me thinks relations later will be quite interesting with this 'new woman' :D

Most of what I do at work is wandering around making random fart noises. So today I downloaded a fart app on my phone and as I was leaving I walked down the hall and set it off in front of everyone's office, including the LT's and the chief of security.

Need more information. How did you make the fart noises before?
