SawStop. Googley.

Bandsaw first. Once you get one, you'll understand.

did someone say "bandsaw"?

I gave the baby a few bites without the hot sauce on it ;) he really liked it :D

I busted out the hot sauce so nobody else in the family would touch em ;)
That works too! I used to like to mix a little fresh grated horseradish into the potatoes, and then the apple sauce on top. The hot sauce works too! I might need to do that here soon. My favorite deli in Chicago does latkes, but they do them SO well!

that's classier than spitting in the batter.

You think around here we really worry about classy?

Damn Cbear those look good! Mine didn't look that good.... but they sure tasted awesome!

Looks absolutely delicious. You don't really want to see 50 anyway, do you? :p

Yea i really want one of them too... Wish they would hurry up LOL

I do like the idea of the Ghurka. I havent had the chance to hold one of them yet, but at .3125" thick and 17" OAL.... I bet it feels like a beast when chopping.

I put my hands on one at SMKW. I have to say... I didn't feel like I was holding $500 worth of steel. It felt nice in the hand as far as balance goes, but not THAT nice. Handles absolutely suck.

So today I had one of the most enjoyable days I remember having in a very looong time.

That's awesome  I too was/am blessed with aunts and uncles that are really interesting and fun, and were a big part of my upbringing. So even though I was an only child, I usually had cousins around too... which are better than brothers or sisters, because you can make them go away at some point instead of being stuck with them 24/7 :p Seems like not as many youngsters have that kind of extended family around them anymore, and that's a bit sad.

Hell I'll be surprised if I see 40.

Funny how one's perspective changes over the years... My 20's were completely batshit crazy, and I was genuinely surprised to make it to 30 in once piece, and not behind bars or in a padded cell. By 40 I had things pretty much under control/ settled down. As long as my health holds out, I'm actually really looking forward to 50 60 70 etc. I'll hopefully have learned a lot more stuff, and will have even more excuse to be a crotchety, cantankerous PITA curmudgeon :D

Not too much going on around the Terrio Compound this weekend... Ang and I are both down with some kind of flu/cold thing. Nothing debilitating, just achy and tired coughy and bleh.

The one i been looking at is on the river store for 160.... Im skeptical if its worth that....But at 500 ??? I wouldnt look twice at it.

curmudgeon :D.

When my brother and sister are around there are 9 children that run around my house in a 5-8 year age gap lol

Agree, as I get older I definitely see things differently.

When I have grandchildren that's the name I'll go by ;) no grandpa, pappy, or anything else. I've decided they will call me curmudgeon. Or they can abbreviate it and call me "mudge" :D
