Haunt the Craig site until you find a Unisaw. Might have to drive to get it, but you're done. It's the heart of a woodworking shop, so don't scrimp.
I fried mashed potatoes into potato patties for breakast......It was awesome
Latkes! I love latkes! Slather them with a little horseradish and some apple sauce... OH good grief! That sounds so good right now.
I busted out the hot sauce so nobody else in the family would touch em![]()
That works too! I used to like to mix a little fresh grated horseradish into the potatoes, and then the apple sauce on top. The hot sauce works too! I might need to do that here soon. My favorite deli in Chicago does latkes, but they do them SO well!I busted out the hot sauce so nobody else in the family would touch em![]()
that's classier than spitting in the batter.

Yea i really want one of them too... Wish they would hurry up LOL
I do like the idea of the Ghurka. I havent had the chance to hold one of them yet, but at .3125" thick and 17" OAL.... I bet it feels like a beast when chopping.
Looks absolutely delicious. You don't really want to see 50 anyway, do you?![]()
So today I had one of the most enjoyable days I remember having in a very looong time.
Hell I'll be surprised if I see 40.
You think around here we really worry about classy?
Here is the table my son made in wood shop.

I put my hands on one at SMKW. I have to say... I didn't feel like I was holding $500 worth of steel. It felt nice in the hand as far as balance goes, but not THAT nice. Handles absolutely suck.
That's awesome  I too was/am blessed with aunts and uncles that are really interesting and fun, and were a big part of my upbringing. So even though I was an only child, I usually had cousins around too... which are better than brothers or sisters, because you can make them go away at some point instead of being stuck with them 24/7Seems like not as many youngsters have that kind of extended family around them anymore, and that's a bit sad.
Funny how one's perspective changes over the years...
